Sweet chili sauce is a Thai-inspired condiment that is increasingly available in grocery stores across the country. As its name implies, it is both sweet and spicy-hot. Its texture is thick and pulpy. Thai sweet chili sauce is traditionally used as a dipping sauce for a variety of dishes, especially grilled meat and fried foods, and thus is a natural for corn dogs.
Mayonnaise
Another thick sauce good for dipping corn dogs is mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is more versatile than you might think. Although its base flavor is rather bland, it takes to additional seasoning well. Mix in some curry powder, a spoonful of basil pesto, some chili powder or grated horseradish.
