Make Jack And Sprite

Jack and coke is a mainstay of American cocktail culture. If you're looking for a lighter, zestier take on the old American classic, then introduce Mr. John Daniels to a drink called Sprite.

Instructions

1. Wet a regular drinking glass and place it in the freezer to chill it. Alternatively, you can crush a handful of ice and leave it in the glass in order to get the glass ready for your Jack and Sprite drink.

2. Fill a shot glass with Jack Daniels whiskey. Pour the shot into your chilled glass. If you want to make your drink a double, add an extra shot.

3. Measure out a shot of Sprite into a shot glass. Pour 2 shots of Sprite from the shot glass into your chilled glass and taste. If the drink is too strong, add another shot of Sprite; if it's too weak, add more Jack Daniels.

4. Cut a lemon or lime into quarters. Make a slit through the fleshy part of the lemon with a sharp knife. Squeeze the lemon or lime's juice into your drink and place the citrus onto the rim of the glass where you made your knife slice.

5. Take 2 pinches of brown sugar and mix it in a finger bowl or saucer with 1 pinch of salt. Use your mixture to rim the glass of your Jack Daniels and Sprite drink. Taste the drink and add ice cubes if needed.
