Make Spinach Balls

Spinach balls are tasty appetizers that are good for any party. They are nutritious and contain high amounts of iron. This recipe can be prepared before the party and and frozen until jut before the event. Read on to make a recipe Popeye can be proud of.








Instructions


1. Cook spinach in a sauce pan. Follow the directions on the package to cook the spinach.


2. Drain the spinach and place it in a bowl.


3. Chop the onion into small pieces.


4. Stir the onion, stuffing, chopped nuts, thyme and cheeses into the spinach.


5. Beat the eggs until creamy.


6. Melt the butter on the stove or in the microwave.


7. Pour butter and eggs in the bowl and combine the ingredients.


8. Add a dash of salt and pepper.


9. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill for 20 minutes.


10. Scoop out the mixture with a teaspoon and roll the mix into balls with your hands. Make them the size of quarters.


11. Grease the cookie sheet and place the spinach balls about 1 inch apart on the sheet.


12. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees until golden brown.


13. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard and honey in a bowl to make a honey-mustard dip for the spinach balls.
