Make A Lollipop Practice Wedding Bouquet

Transform lollipops into flowers.

Add a touch of whimsy to a wedding rehearsal with lollipop bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaids. The sweet arrangements will serve as favors for the bridal party, as well as props during the practice run.

Instructions

1. Cut squares of tissue paper, large enough to completely cover the top of each lollipop, with scissors. Choose assorted bright floral colors, or focus on the wedding's signature shade.

2. Cut the ribbon into 6-inch lengths, one for each lollipop.

3. Wrap the top of each lollipop with a tissue paper square. Tie a ribbon around the lollipop stick at the base of the candy to secure the tissue.

4. Trim any excess tissue paper with scissors, or fluff it out to resemble flower petals.

5. Push the free ends of the lollipop sticks into the foam bouquet form to create an attractive arrangement. Continue adding lollipops until the foam can no longer be seen. This is the bride's practice bouquet.

6. Gather several lollipops into a bunch to form small bouquets for the bridesmaids. Wrap a rubber band around the sticks where they cross one another to hold them together. Wrap ribbon around the rubber band to hide it and tie a pretty bow.
