Pumpkin seeds make tasty snacks that are healthy for you as well. Pumpkin seeds can be prepared in a variety of ways, but toasted seems to be the best. To soften the seeds before you toast them, try boiling them. Adding spices and flavorings is a great way to change the taste of the seeds. You can make your toasted pumpkin seeds sweet or salty, or both if you like. Toasted pumpkin seeds can be stored in an airtight container for up to three months.
