Prepare Fruit For Breakfast Meals







Fresh fruit is a refreshing, nutritional breakfast food. There are many health benefits associated with the regular consumption of fruit. Many varieties of fresh fruits are available all year round. Fruit will not only add color to your table but it's a great addition to any breakfast meal.


Instructions


1. Wash your fruit thoroughly. The FDA recommends washing all fruits and vegetables. If you eliminate this process before slicing or peeling the knife will bring any contaminants into the center of the fruit.


2. Remove all skins, stems, seeds and pits from the fruit and discard all waste. Cut your fresh fruit into bite size pieces. Spoon all of the cut fruit into a serving bowl.


3. Sort the berries, cherries and grapes to eliminate spotted or over ripened fruit.


4. Carefully, add this assortment of fruit to the salad. Seasonal fruit has a sweeter taste. There are usually a number to choose from any time of the year.


5. Toss your fresh fruit gently and serve.
