Make Raspberry Cider

One of the best things about the change of seasons, from summer's heat to the crisp, cool days of autumn days, is a cup of hot, fresh apple cider on a chilly day. The addition of raspberry adds a tangy flavor and a lovely reddish hue to this old favorite.

Instructions

Hot Raspberry Cider

1. Mix the raspberry juice, apple cider and sugar in a saucepan. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it simmers, stirring occasionally.

2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Remove the mixture from heat and remove the cinnamon stick.

4. Serve hot in heavy mugs. This recipe makes 8 servings.
