You can make outstanding pancakes using natural ingredients.
Pancakes are a traditional breakfast food that you can make in a multitude of different ways. For example, you can add in special ingredients to customize them, such as chocolate chips or blueberries. If you want to make a really super basic pancake, however, there are certain techniques that ensure that the pancakes will be fluffy and delicious. These pancakes are hearty enough to stand alone or you can serve them with other traditional breakfast fare.
Instructions
1. Pour the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl. Mix well.
2. Whisk the milk, 2 tbsp. of melted butter and two eggs in another bowl.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
4. Grease a hot skillet with butter.
5. Scoop out about 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the hot, greased skillet.
6. Allow the pancake to cook until you can see the bubbles on the surface start to remain stable.
7. Flip the pancake using a spatula. This bottom of the pancake should be golden-brown.
8. Allow the pancake to cook for a couple more minutes until the top of the pancake feels firm. Repeat this process until you have cooked all of the pancake batter.
