If you have vegetarians in tow, the restaurant has an extensive vegetarian menu. The restaurant allows alcohol brought in from outside, and is capable of hosting private parties if you wish to make a booking.

The restaurant is a bit more expensive than most Thai restaurants, but it will not put you out of pocket. Thai Orchid is open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. On the menu of chef's specialties are crispy duck served with raspberry sauce and flavored with Chambord liqueur, and Thai-inspired crab cakes, to name a few. There is also a vegetarian menu to choose from. Thai Orchid keeps things fun and interesting by giving its menu selections cheeky names.

Another Thai restaurant found in neighboring Blue Bell, is Pho Thai Nam. Pho Thai Nam offers both authentic Vietnamese and Thai cuisine and, as its name might suggest, specializes in Pho noodle soup, a Vietnamese specialty dish. The restaurant also offers a variety of other dishes like vermicelli, red curry, stir-fried meat and papaya salad. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Closed on Mondays. The food is reasonably priced and there are lunch specials.
