Salad spritzers have become all the rage. Well-known companies can't even keep their spritzers on the shelves long enough to settle. Perhaps it is the idea that you are consuming less calories. Maybe it is the lightness of the taste of the spritzers. Perhaps it is simply fun to spray a bottle of dressing on your salad. Whatever the reason, salad spritzers are a hit. Instead of going to the store and purchasing a spritzer salad dressing, why not make one yourself. Here is a simple recipe for making your own salad spritzer dressing.
Instructions
1. Measure 1/4 cup red wine vinegar with a pinch of salt. Pour into a spray bottle.
2. Place your thumb over the top of the and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
3. Add 1 1/4 cup olive oil to the vinegar mixture.
4. Shake again for 30 seconds as in Step 2.
5. Screw spray nozzle back on the bottle and spritz your salad. If you wait more than a few minutes to spray your salad, give the bottle another gentle shake before you do so.
