Tuna noodle salad makes for a refreshing cold summer dish that travels well and is a perfect dish to bring to a summer cookout or potluck garden party. The right recipe can also help get rid of any leftover pasta. You can customize any tuna noodle salad by using additional vegetables of your choosing. Other vegetables sometimes included in tuna noodle salad include capers, celery, bell peppers, olives, red onion and cucumber.
Instructions
1. Boil the pasta for the amount of time indicated on the package. Drain the cooked pasta and run cold water over it for one minute to stop it from cooking further and cool it down.
2. Put the tuna, mayonnaise and peas in a bowl and thoroughly mix together until creamy.
3. Add the pasta to the mixture and mix with a spoon until all of the pasta is coated with mayonnaise.
4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle a bit of paprika on top to finish.
