Make Tropical Mango Green Tea

One of my favorite things to do is create tea blends out of fruit, particularly tropical fruit. This blend combines tropical fruits like mango, papaya and pineapple along with delicate green tea leaves. The end result is something that is refreshing and reminiscent of the warm summer months.

All of the ingredients listed in the recipe below are easy to find and can probably be purchased at your local supermarket. Be sure to use all dried ingredients.

Instructions

1. Make sure that when you purchase the ingredients, you find papaya, mango and pineapple which don't contain extra sugar. Also select soft ones so they are easy to chop up.

2. Combine all of the ingredients together in the mixing bowl. Stir gently with a wooden spoon. Make sure the fruit doesn't stick together.

3. Pour into an airtight container such as a glass jar (amber colored is preferable). Store away from heat and light.

4. When it comes time to make the tea, use 1.5 tsp. of the blend for every cup of hot water.
