Join A Wine Club

Cheers to good wine

If you're a collector of wine or just enjoy trying different wines, you can save money by joining a wine club. You can keep the collectible wine if you prefer, and you also get the benefit of sampling different tastes and types of wine from vineyards all over the world.

Instructions

1. Choose a type of wine or label. Depending on what your preference is, find a wine club that offers what you're looking for in a wine. A lot of clubs will let you choose between the different colors and styles of wine.

2. Find out the delivery schedule. Wine club deliveries vary between clubs, so be sure to inquire about the time frame on your wine. Some deliver once per month and others might deliver just twice a year.

3. Inquire about the price. Delivery for wine can run higher than the wine itself, so be sure have knowledge of the wine cost and any delivery fees or extra costs involved. Usually the delivery fee will vary from state to state.

4. Make sure it's legal in your state. Not every state in the United States allows liquor to be delivered across state lines. Before you make a decision, look at the disclaimers on the wine club's site you're interested in. You will be able to see if it is legal to have wine delivered in your area of the country.

5. Find out about cancellations. Inquire about the ease of canceling your wine club should you decide you no longer require their services. You will need to know how much notice to give and if there are any charges for canceling. Most wine clubs do not charge a fee, but be certain that the wine delivery club you choose is cancellation-friendly.

6. Find out what all is included in your order. Different companies will have varying types of wine club deliveries. Some may offer a newsletter or magazine, and some will just send the wine and nothing else. Inquire about the services you will receive once you join.
