Make Blue Chesse Dressing

Make Blue Chesse Dressing

Make your own Blue Cheese salad dressing for a tasty change of pace from the bottled variety. This dressing so easy you may never buy bottled dressing again. Blue Cheese dressing is not only great on a salad, but makes an excellent dipping sauce for raw veggies. For another treat, try dipping hot wings into the dressing. While adult tend to love this flavor, it can be a bit strong for children, so let them try a small amount at first.

Instructions

1. Mix about 2/3 of the blue cheese with mayo, buttermilk, sour cream and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

2. Taste -- some cheese can be salty, so test the dressing before adding additional salt. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Add remaining blue cheese crumbles and use lowest "stir" or "pulse" setting on blender. Dressing should be chunky.

4. Refrigerate until ready to use.

5. After enjoying your meal, store leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
