Bake Wonton Desserts

When baking wontons as a dessert, keep in mind that they are delicate and can crack easily. It doesn't take long to bake them, so monitor the baking time closely to prevent them from drying out. Once you finish baking them, cover them with a damp towel until you serve them to keep them moist.


Instructions


1. Set the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.








2. Slice two ripe bananas into small pieces with a butter knife and put them in a small bowl.


3. Add 4 oz. of chocolate chips, and mix the chips and bananas together with a tablespoon.


4. Lightly spray both sides of 24 wantons with butter-flavored cooking spray.


5. Place 1 tbsp.of the banana and chocolate chip mixture in the center of each wonton.


6. Fold each wonton in half so that it forms a triangle.


7. Place a wonton in each cup of two mini-muffin trays.








8. Bake the wontons for 10 minutes or until golden brown.


9. Remove the wontons from the muffin pan with a pair of metal tongs and place them on a serving plate.


10. Sprinkle the wontons with powdered sugar.
