Seafood Restaurants In Lewisville Tx

Lewisville, Texas, is about 25 miles northwest of Dallas; and because of the popularity of seafood there, there are several restaurants throughout the town that serve fish and other seafood. In the U.S. census of 2000, Lewisville had a population of about 77,000.

Johnny G's

There's nothing fancy about this restaurant with its booths surrounded by picnic tables and a well-equipped bar that attracts crowds on weekends. Part of the attraction is the live entertainment that is often scheduled on Saturday nights. It is a place for families, although you see many travelers stopping by for a meal. Soft shell crabs are favored as is the plate of catfish, shrimp and crawfish, both served with french fries and hush puppies. For the venturesome eater, try the alligator, served blackened or fried.

Blue Ocean Sushi & Asian Grill

Blue Ocean is an Asian restaurant, and it serves sushi, sashimi, tempura, and other Asian dishes. This restaurant offers many fresh seafood dishes that are low in calories and contain a lot of protein. On its menu, there's shrimp tempura that's served with mixed vegetables, prawns in a spicy garlic sauce, baked red snapper in a cream lemon sauce and Chilean sea bass with a sauce made with Moromiso sake.

Corinne's Catfish & Pies

Corinne's Catfish & Pies serves huge orders of food. They filet the fish and coat with corn meal, and it has a way to make the meat both moist and crunchy at once. Several fish appear on the menu like tilapia and catfish and you'll have your choice of one or two filets that are served with seasoned french fries, sliced onion, jalapeno pepper, some dill pickle chips and a homemade hush puppy.

Crab Shack

In 1991, the two owners traveled the Gulf Coast of Texas and they stopped at every crab shack they could find. Then they returned to Houston, Texas, and opened the first Joe's Crab Shack. They opened their 100th restaurant in 2010 and there are more on the drawing board. You can order just about any manner of seafood although their steampots are very popular. For instance, you can order the Old Bay Steampot with its two clusters of Alaskan King Crab along with a pound of clams, sausage, corn on the cob with potato that have all been seasoned with Old Bay. Or else, you can order the Bean Town Bake with two lobsters, a pound of clams, six shrimp, fresh corn and french fries.
