Store Sangria

The root word from sangria means "blood" in Spanish.

Sangria is an alcoholic cocktail with a wine base, with more than one wine blend for sangria. Traditionally, sangria is a mixture of wine and brandy. Fruit slices and other ingredients may be added to your punch. Once the beverage is mixed, put it in a wide-mouthed glass picture. Store extra sangria properly and prevent your blended drink from souring. Leaving your sangria out unrefrigerated may leave you with a drink that tastes more like vinegar than wine.

Instructions

1. Use tongs to remove any fruit from your sangria. Toss the fruit away, as it may be too mushy to use again.

2. Cover the top of the pitcher with a lid or some plastic cling wrap.

3. Place the sangria in the refrigerator for up to two days. After that, you sangria may be vinegary.

4. Place ice cubes or reusable cubes in the pitcher of sangria before serving it again. Replace the old fruit with new fruit slices right before serving. Keep the sangria refrigerated when it is not being used.
