Make Vegan Cheese Last Longer

Vegan cheese takes cheese from products like nuts and beans, not cows.

The vegan lifestyle shuns products made or derived from animals. The vegan diet asserts that all essential organic nutrients required in the human diet come from plants and micro-organisms, not from animals, states, the website "Veg Source". If you make or purchase vegan cheese, it's in your best interest to keep its main ingredients, often nuts and soy, fresh for as long as possible.

Instructions

1. Place your block of vegan cheese inside of a plastic vacuum bag with a zippered mouth. Press all the air out of the bag with your hands.

2. Lock the zippered mouth of the bag together, by pressing the sides together. Open the seal of the bags, which will most likely look like a round opening with a lid on the body of the bag.

3. Plug in your handheld vacuum device and press it against the mouth of the seal. Turn it on and watch as the bag shrinks around your vegan cheese. Turn off the device, pull it away from the seal and close the seal.
