Make A Nonalcoholic Lemon Margarita







The versatile margarita comes in just about any fruit flavor you would care to imagine, and its non-alcoholic cousin shares that flavor flexibility. Here is make a non-alcoholic lemon margarita.


Instructions








1. Peel several lemons, but do not discard the rinds. Chop the fruit into large chunks and remove any seeds.


2. Slice a lime into wheels. Set aside the wheels to use as a garnish.


3. Put 4 cups chopped lemons and 4 cups ice cubes into a blender. Using a coarse setting, grind up the fruit and ice.


4. Add lime juice, coarse salt and sugar to taste. Start with small, equal amounts of these ingredients and sample the mixture as you go.


5. Use a finer setting on the blender to blend the ingredients until smooth. The consistency of the finished non-alcoholic lemon Margarita resembles a slush.


6. Pour mixture into a mug. Arrange a long, narrow strip of lemon peel on the top of the beverage, and then garnish with a lime wheel.
