Here is an easy recipe for California Tacos.Savory and delicious are the words to describe these simple tacos. No hard (tortillas) shells in this recipe. You can't even compare these tacos with Taco Bell. This recipe comes from my mother, who worked all her life as a cook to support us. 2. Heat tortillas and put aside. This will make the corn tortilla easier to fold. Fill the tortilla with shedded roast beef.

3. Pour 1/2 of a cup of cooking oil in a skillet, get it really hot. Place the taco in the hot skillet, and pick up with tongs. Remove the taco after cooking both sides. For soft tacos cook less time. Drain on paper towels.
