Make a Sex on the Beach Mixed Drink
Sex on the Beach is not only a cool name for an alcoholic drink, but the drink also holds the distinction of making the International Bartenders Association's (IBA) list of official cocktails. Placed under the category of a popular cocktail, Sex on the Beach has been given an official version of ingredients for the drink. Whether you drink it because of the ingredients, or because you like the name, several variations of this mixture exist. Try them all to find your preference.
Instructions
1. Cut orange slices lengthwise. Cut slices in half. Slice halfway through to the orange's fleshy center, so it can be placed on the rim of the glass. Set aside.
2. Measure 2 oz. each of vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice using the jigger. Pour the shots into the shaker. Measure 1 oz. of peach schnapps. Add it into the shaker.
3. Add top to the shaker and move in a side-to-side motion. Shake well.
4. Grab a highball glass. Fill it with the ice. Pour the mixture into the glass.
5. Place the orange slice on the rim of the glass. Serve the drink.
