Make A Bushwacker

No one knows for sure how or where the rum-based Bushwacker originated, but it is a popular cocktail in the Caribbean, especially on the U.S. Virgin Islands. There are numerous recipe variations for a Bushwacker, but most recipes include Bailey's Irish Cream and rum blended with numerous other types of alcohol and ice. As you can imagine, this drink is quite potent, so enjoy responsibly.

Instructions

1. Plug in your blender and fill with 2 cups of ice.

2. Measure and pour Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur into the blender.

3. Add Kahlua coffee liqueur and creme de cacao to the blender. Creme de cacao is a chocolate-flavored liqueur available at most liquor stores.

4. Pour dark rum and vodka in the blender. Add a splash of amaretto.

5. Measure and pour milk or cream in the blender and attach the lid. Alternatively, you can use cream of coconut instead of milk. Blend on high speed until the ingredients are mixed and the ice is completely blended. Add more ice if the Bushwacker is too thin.

6. Divide the drink between four large glasses. Sprinkle each drink with a dash of nutmeg and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
