Make A Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken pot pie is good old-fashioned comfort food. There is nothing more satisfying on a cold winter's day than a warm chicken pot pie waiting on the table. Many people shy away from making pot pie because they think it requires a lot of preparation time and work when, in fact, it can be fairly simple to make. Here are five easy steps to prepare a 6-serving chicken pot pie for your family and friends.

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Press one of the pie crusts down into the pie pan. Make sure the crust edges scale the edges of the pan.

3. Mix the chicken, soup, vegetables and milk in your mixing bowl until well combined. Pour the mixture into the crust in the pie pan.

4. Place the remaining crust over the top of the mixture and seal the edges with the other crust's edges. Pinch together until the entire top is sealed. Poke 16 holes in the top of the crust with your fork.

5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden, and serve.
