Washington state has hundreds of vineyards.
Washington state has recently become one of the top producers of wine in the country. The Northwest wine country includes parts of Washington and Oregon, and wine is the fourth largest agricultural product for the region. Grapes from this region produce a variety of wines, with the five primary kinds being Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Syrah. Many vineyards in the region offer their own individual wine clubs. There are some additional clubs and wine services that include wines from this region as one of many monthly or quarterly offerings.
