Cook Fin Fish

Prepare a fin fish for lunch or dinner.

Fin fish is actually any other fish besides flat fish. By cooking fin fish correctly, you can develop the flavor to perfection. It helps to soften the connective tissue in the fish, although it is only a small portion. Proper cooking also makes it easier to digest the protein. Do not cook at a very high temperature and avoid cooking it for a long time, as this destroys the flavor and also dries it. You can use a number of methods to cook fin fish.

Instructions

1. Poach your fin fish by using a shallow frying pan. Completely cover the fish in liquid. Use 1/2 cup of milk or water and add salt, herbs and spices. Cover the frying pan and cook for 10 minutes.

2. Place the fish in a baking dish and baste it once by covering it with butter. Don't turn the fish in the oven as it cooks quickly. Set the oven to 350 degrees and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.

3. Pour 1/2 cup of vegetable oil into a frying pan and arrange the fish on it. Leave some space between the pieces and fry on medium heat, turning carefully from side to side till it is completely brown.

4. Allow the steam from boiling water to cook the fish, using a steam cooker with a tight lid. Keep the fish on a rack without touching the water. Add your favorite seasonings to the water. Allow the fish to steam for about 10 to 20 minutes.
