Make Green Tequila Salsa

Peppers are one of the spicy ingredients in Green Tequila Salsa








There are many unique and favorful salsas on the market, but nothing can compare to the freshness of homemade salsa. Green Tequila Salsa will be sure to please your guests, and is easy to make with a few ingredients and some simple kitchen tools.








Instructions


1. Wash all vegetables and the cilantro, and peel the garlic cloves and onion. Chop the green tomato and onion into large chunks that will fit in the food processor. Cut limes in half and use citrus juicer to extract the juice. Set aside. You may want to wear gloves to prepare the jalapeno peppers if you have sensitive skin. Remove pepper tops and discard. Cut the remaining pepper into large chunks.


2. Cut the stems from the cilantro and place it in the food processor with the jalapeno pepper, garlic and onion. Process on high until the mixture is finely cut and makes a green paste.


3. Place the tomatoes in the food processor with the herb mixture and use the pulse feature on the machine until the tomatoes are finely chopped but not liquified.


4. Add the lime juice, tequila, salt and cumin to the mixture. Give the food processor a couple of quick pulses to mix in the final ingredients. Pour into a serving bowl.
