Summer is almost here and there is nothing better than having a nice cold smoothie on a hot day. This smoothie is not only delicious, but it is also nutritious. You get a serving of fruit and a serving of dairy in every drink. Here is how you can make a raspberry vanilla smoothie.
Instructions
1. Set up your blender. All of the ingredients will go directly into it--not in a mixing bowl.
2. Put raspberries, pineapple juice, vanilla yogurt and honey in the blender.
3. Crush up your ice. If your blender can't handle regularly sized ice cubes, you will need to crush up your ice. An easy way to do this is to place the ice cubes in a plastic bag and bang on them a few times with a meat tenderizer. Then add ice cube chunks to the blender.
4. Put the lid on the blender and turn on high. Blend until all the ice chunks and raspberries are liquified. Your drink will be nice and smooth.
5. Pour your smoothie into a tall glass. It's optional if you want to add a little umbrella. Drink up!
