If you are one of those people who simply can't function without a cup of steaming coffee in the morning, you probably make the same brand and flavor every morning. Maybe you are satisfied with the taste and strength and have no desire to change, but if you feel like trying something new, free samples just might be for you. Many companies offer free trial-size coffee so you can try it without the expense of buying a new brand or the risk of getting stuck with a whole can that you simply aren't going to use.
Instructions
1. Find free samples by visiting the website of the brand you currently use. Check the label on the package for the web address of the manufacturer. Look around the site for any free sample offers. Many will provide samples of new flavors during the promotional period for that product. If you don't see samples on the front page, use the search feature to locate them. Follow the directions on the site for claiming the sample.
2. Explore other coffee manufacturers for samples. Simply type the name of the brand of coffee in a search engine and follow the links to the site. You may be asked to register for the site or to complete a survey. This survey is generally very short and asks generic questions about your coffee use. Provide the necessary address and phone number to verify that you have not already received samples from them. Select the sample you would like to try.
3. Check the newspaper for special offers; the coupon section may have coupons for free trail sizes or samples. During promotions for new products, companies often do a giveaway to entice new customers. Promotions tend to be timed around major holidays or at the change of seasons.
4. Listen carefully to television ads. Jot down the web address whenever an offer for a free sample is made. It is becoming a marketing strategy for many companies to entice television viewers to their sites. Note the details of the offer so that you will remember later when you are ready to access the site and claim the sample.
5. Visit the CoffeeFair site (see Resources below) for links to a variety of offers from many different coffee supplies. Some of these are commercial offers, but you will find free samples. Read through the offers and follow the directions on the site to claim your sample.
