After a long day, an ice-cold bourbon and coke hits the spot, and it's easy to make. Many alcoholic drink recipes prove difficult to make and contain ingredients that you don't have in your bar. But a bourbon and coke is one alcoholic drink that almost everyone can make at home. All you need is Coke (or a similar soda), bourbon or another type of whiskey, ice and a glass.
Instructions
1. Set out a large glass and fill it with ice. Too much ice makes your alcoholic drink too watery, while too little ice leaves it unpleasantly warm. Also, that the glass is large enough to hold all of the ice, Coke and bourbon.
2. Pour a shot or so of bourbon or whiskey onto the ice. Many people like to use Jack Daniels for this alcoholic drink recipe, but you can use whatever type of whiskey you have in your cabinet. If the recipe is too weak or too strong for your taste, simply add more or less bourbon until it's just to your liking.
3. Add about one can's worth of Coke to the glass. Feel free to substitute Pepsi or a similar generic brand of soda for the Coke. Stir the drink lightly to make sure that it mixes completely.
