Cuisinart Blender Instructions

Cuisinart blenders are common place appliances in many homes. Used for preparing ingredients for cooking, making smoothies and milkshakes and mixing ingredients together, Cuisinart blenders, such as the Power Blend 600 can be used in many phases of food preparation. With features including seven blending speeds, 56-ounce jars, 2-ounce measure pour lids and stainless steel blades, Cuisinart blenders are typically easy to use, clean and maintain. Using a Cuisinart blender is made easier with some basic understanding of the assembly and method of operation.

Instructions

1. Position the base of the Cuisinart blender on a flat work surface that will provide adequate support. Place the blender jar on the work surface so that it is turned upside down.

2. Place the rubber gasket on the bottom of the jar. Turn the cutting blades down and position them so they are inside the jar. Secure the gasket and blades to the bottom of the Cuisinart blender jar with the lock ring. Turn the lock ring clockwise to hold the assembly in place.

3. Position the blender jar on the Cuisinart base so it is securely attached. Assemble the center pour lid into the jar cover by aligning the tabs and pushing into place.

4. Add ice, ice cream, fruit, milk and other ingredients to the blender jar as desired. Do not fill the ingredients above the fill line indicated on the side of the blender jar.

5. Press the "on" button to provide power to the blender. Choose a blend setting and push the button to begin a pulse or smooth blending. Press the blend setting button again to stop the action and turn the power off before removing the blender jar from the base.
