Make A Mango Perfume

The mango is a tropical fruit that can be used for eating, cooking, skin moisturizers and also for scent. Below is a recipe to make your own homemade mango perfume that takes 2 weeks to make but is well worth it when it is done. You can refresh with this fruity scent that is perfect all summer long.

Instructions

1. Pour 1/3 cup of vodka and 25 drops of the mango essential oil into a sterilized 20-oz. bottle.

2. Close the bottle and shake well.

3. Add 2 cups of distilled or boiled water (cooled at room temperature). Shake for several minutes more. Set the mixed ingredients aside in a cool dry place for 2 weeks.

4. After 2 weeks, get a ceramic or glass bowl, take a coffee filter and filter the liquid through the coffee filter into the glass bowl.

5. Transfer the strained mixture into a sterilized measuring cup and pour into colored bottles. If you don't have colored bottles you can pour them in regular glass bottles but store one in the refrigerator to last longer and keep it fresh.
