Make A Mustard Bath

Make a Mustard Bath

Mustard baths are offered in fine spas and resorts around the world. A mustard bath is said to help relieve stress, cure insomnia, open pores, remove toxins from your body and loosen tight muscles. You don't need to spend lots of money at a spa; instead you can enjoy a healthful mustard bath at home.

Instructions

1. Mix salt, powdered milk and powdered mustard seed in medium sized mixing bowl. Set bowl aside.

2. Pour the remaining ginger into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add two drops eucalyptus essential oil, one drop lemon essential oil, and one drop rosemary essential oil to the ginger and stir to mix well.

3. Add the ginger mixture to the mustard mixture a bit at a time, mixing well as you combine the ingredients.

4. Run a very warm bath, pouring in a litle of the mustard mixture at a time as the tub fills with water. Use your hand to stir the mixture into the water.

5. Soak in the warm bath for at least fifteen to twenty minutes. Wrap yourself in a thick towel or warm robe after exiting the tub. Your pores will be open after your bath and will take a while to close, so you might feel a chill.
